Cookies provide us with important information about how people use our site, which pages they visit the most, how much time they spend on pages, etc.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser that enables a website to recognise you on return visits. Cookies are not active files, i.e. they do not contain viruses or track content on your computer. All they do is send anonymous information to us about when you visited, for how long, etc.
• Statistics (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics to generate statistics about traffic on the site, so that we can adapt it to the needs of our users. Google Analytics generates data about the number of page views, the average duration of visits and users’ movements on the site.
• Sharing (AddThis): Content on nordiskkulturfond.org can be shared with others via Facebook and Twitter. To facilitate this, we use AddThis, which makes it easy for users to share content on social media.
If you don’t want cookies
You can change your browser settings so that your computer will not allow cookies. You can also delete existing cookies on your computer.
Use of personal data
The Nordic Culture Fund will never pass on or sell your personal information to third parties, nor do we collect personal information unless you give it to us (e.g. by signing up for a newsletter).
